What does the Lighthouse Realty Group of Fulton Grace do for a good time on a gorgeous Saturday? After serving up some food and beverages to their favorite buyers, sellers, developers, investors and realtor friends, they load a trolley destined for home exploration.
For the September Home Tour, a group of over 60 urban adventurers saw five properties in the architecturally significant and community-focused village of Oak Park. Three homes were in different stages of development, by two of the Lighthouse Team’s clients, and two were pre-existing homes currently on the market with other realtors.
The tour, besides providing fun, aimed to stir up pre-sales and put a fresh spin on selling new construction or gut-rehab homes.
The experience transpired with Integrity and transparency. At the tour, buyers could see behind the walls and what went into creating the final gem. They could look the developers directly in the eye and ask candid questions.
Enthusiasm was infectious! While investors took interest in the high quality opportunities, developers strove to duplicate the process. Realtors were thrilled at the idea of exposing their clients to such a unique home buying experience.
The tour offered participants a taste of the surrounding community that may have been otherwise missed. The pre-existing homes received exposure and feedback in a big dose and a brief time. Winning for all!
