However, the residential and realty landscape is quickly changing as the neighborhood is also in the midst of a rapid transformation, with new construction along Milwaukee Avenue and the nearby Bloomingdale Trail reshaping the physical environment. Thus many of its homes are sought after, and priced accordingly. While many single-family detached homes are abundant, there are also many vintage and new construction apartment buildings making renting a viable option as well. In April 2022, Logan Square home prices were up 19.5% compared to last year, selling for a median price of $520K. The average rental price is $1,800.
