Tian Shuai's journey began in Qingdao, China, where he was born into a family of professional dancers. His passion for dance led him to the United States in 2001, where he pursued a career as a professional ballet dancer. Over the course of his career, he worked with three world-famous international ballet companies, including the Joffrey Ballet in Chicago, where he danced for six years before retiring from dancing in 2011.
