Manuel Canchola

about Manuel

Chicago native Manuel Canchola studied Saxophone and music his entire life. In 2012, Manuel relocated to New York to attend The New School for Jazz & Contemporary Music, where he studied with the world's leading jazz musicians. Manuel began to wonder, could real estate allow him the leverage and the face time needed to successfully open a Jazz Club in NYC? In 2016, upon graduation, he attained his Real Estate License and began working in the luxury rental market in Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhattan. However, his end-game plan evolved to become an investor in his hometown of Chicago. “The long-term goal is to own as many places as possible, as well as teach my community about real estate thus helping more people prosper from gentrification and use the influx of funds to start community efforts such as neighborhood-funded businesses.” Moving his career from the New York market in which you pay an unreasonable amount for very little to the Chicago market where you get a real bang for your buck was a very exciting prospect, thus he made the jump and the rest is history!

When not helping his clients and community thrive within the real estate market, you can find Manuel composing or producing music, seeing a live show, performing at a music venue or festival, or hanging with his new pup Chica!

Last but not least, “I am deeply invested in the growth of my Mexican community in Little Village and I am working hard to build urban farms and community centers to teach people financial literacy and food autonomy. I am building a network of like-minded people throughout the world that would like to help me uplift our individual communities one at a time. Rather than tackling the entire world at once, I believe the best way to create lasting change is to focus on the neighborhood level, block by block.”
