about CK

CK’s enthusiasm and love for the real estate industry is infectious. Integrity and ethical practices are at the forefront of her real estate practice, combined with a true gift for listening. Making that right match and finding the perfect property for her buyer clients while making the best possible deal for both her buying and selling clients, is what motivates her.

In 2015, CK joined the Lighthouse Real Estate Team and soon became a team co-leader. In its first 2 years, the Team marketed and sold 16 rehabbed bungalow homes - 50% before completion and 25% with less than 30 market days. This resulted in over $7 million in sales in the Portage Park and Belmont Cragin neighborhoods.  The Team’s success was based on creative marketing strategies unique to the Team.

The Lighthouse Real Estate Team has been recognized by the Chicago Association of Realtors with the Top Producer Award, based on their high sales production.

Beginning her Real Estate Career in 1993, CK provided sales and marketing services for new construction homes in the Kenwood/Oakland community, then 2 more Chicago Parades of Homes, one in East Garfield Park and another in Kenwood/Oakland.  She successfully won Key Awards from the Home Builders Association of Greater Chicago for her Target Market Interior Design.

Expanding into Chicago’s “Affordable” Homes programs, she provided sales and marketing expertise in the Kenwood/Oakland, Austin, Maywood, University Village and Old Town communities.

In the Avalon Park neighborhood, CK designed and produced a sales center and 4 model homes for distinct markets while successfully selling new construction homes at Heritage Place.

She spent 4 years marketing and leasing over 300 units of residential and commercial properties owned by New Management, Ltd.   The properties ranged from live/work lofts in the West Loop, to Restaurant Row on Randolph as well as a 50 acre industrial park by Midway Airport, maintaining a 97% occupancy rate.

CK is a licensed real estate broker.  She received her Bachelors Degree in Social Work from the University of Iowa.  She also completed course work for a Masters Degree in Public Administration at Roosevelt University.
